Kia UK needed help building its online presence within the EV and automotive industry. Although the brand was performing well for short-tail searches (e.g. 'electric car'), it was missing out on a lot of long-tail informational searches by people who already own or might be looking to purchase an electric car in the future.
We saw a great opportunity to turn this around by utilising the blog. Over the course of 2 years, we published 70+ articles on the Kia UK blog, covering a range of interesting and helpful topics. These ranged from press releases and breaking EV news, to helpful guides answering common questions.
Through this content, we completely reinvented the Kia UK blog. We turned it from an ignored content resource into a lead-driving hub of informational and inspirational articles.
After two years, we delivered 3,975% more ranking keywords, including 478% more keywords in the first 1-3 positions, 1,402% more keywords on Google's first page, and 930% more SERP features (e.g. People Also Ask results).
Strengthening the keyword reach brought an additional 44,391 visits and 244 leads for Kia UK between 2022 and 2024.
