The Insight

During one of the world's longest and most consistent Covid lockdowns, Melbourne's dining scene was in dire straits. OpenTable wanted to increase restaurant bookings (when restrictions were lifted) and promote its takeaway options for its various affiliated dining establishments around the city.

The Idea

As part of this campaign I helped OpenTable produce a series of articles highlighting the restaurant choices within Melbourne, promoting in-person dining and takeaway options. I also created a number of more tongue-in-cheek articles around buzz-worthy topics, including the Mukbang trend and funny takeaway order notes.

The Impact

The articles were well received by OpenTable readers and garnered the website hundreds of additional views after their publication.
